Here's the lowdown on how this 'new, improved' feature came to be. For the past three years, Omega has been putting out a variety of features, all aimed at giving the viewer all the latest in what's Hot in matters of software, Hot links to homepages, Technical Advice, and what have you. It was getting to the point where there were so many 'features' that even I had trouble remembering where all the good stuff was.
So, .... starting today (March 16th of the not so holy year 1998) I will use this new feature (called 'This and That' to list all's that's new, be they new URL's, new Award Winners (Latest Jewels, Kool Site, Latest Nuggets, what have you), new software etc etc.! As there will be no graphics on this page, it should load fast, even when it gets to be quite large.
Specialized features such as Concerts in the Park, The Gustloff, Singalongs etc will continue to be published separately.
If you want to be kept abreast of what's going on at Omega I strongly suggest you use the form below to be notified of major changes.
One last comment: I will from now on, on all features where it applies, use the little 'flippin book' to pass on any extra information which otherwise would either take too much room or distract from the article at hand. Bottom line: if you see the 'flippin book' logo.... it's wise to click on it.
