There are billions of people inhabiting this planet of ours and they each share one very happy event.... their birthday! And today, February 12th, is the Birthday of a very good cyberpal of mine and... of all cybersurfers who enjoy 'good music', Mel Webb! Mel.... this is your day! Why don't you just relax, surrounded by friends and relatives while I tell your Fan Club how we came to meet?
Once upon a time.... no! wrong story! It all actually began one day when I was visiting a favorite site of mine... the Smick and Smodoo's homepage which was featuring several of your Midi selections. I was 'hooked'! I liked your style and the diversity of your Midi repertoire. I remember saying to myself "Self! Maybe I should contact this fella and ask him if he would agree to my featuring his music on my site. The rest, as they say, is history.
Not only did you agree but you even suggested we might put together a very special feature honoring a great performer idol of ours, Frank Sinatra. Thus was born, not only a great feature but a great friendship.
My close association with you as we developed this special feature proved to me that here was a man whose avowed aim in life was to share his love of music with all cyberspace. To this end, you devoted countless hours of your time and much energy. Well my friend, here we all are.... thanking you for all you have done.
