My musical background includes 20 years (1962-1982) with various U.S. Navy Bands, including 2 years at the Naval School of Music, where in addition to performance, I studied arranging, composition, theory, harmony and conducting. After retiring from the Navy in 1982, I spent the next 10 years as a sax/keyboard player with a road band. In 1992 I moved back home to Houston, Texas where I have since been playing locally.
